1. What could you add on to your mask to make it useful/functional? List any
ideas....draw them out (EX. a light, a hook, a pencil holder)
2. What do you collect? Consider your collections or past collections....how
could they be incorporated into your mask? (shells, feathers, twig, marbles,
cogs, toy trucks)
3. Draw a part of your own home on your mask - (chimney, window, fireplace,
door, bed frame, stained glass window....)
4. Who is influential in your life? A hero, fictional character, TV personality
- how could they be incorporated into your mask?
5. How will you use color in your mask? Use three colors together to create
a color palette. (Red, green, pink)
6. What's your passion? Hobby? Interest? What skills do you take pride in having?
(Hiking, biking, travel)
7. What interests you? What baffles your mind and makes you think? What confuses
you? (Astronomy, Mathematics, Physics)
8. What sort of animals are you fond of? How could they be incorporated with
your own face? (Leather? Fur? Whiskers?)
9. Consider modes of transportation. Could this be useful in your design? (Air
planes, parachutes, horse and buggy, kites)
ALSO, bring in things from home - found objects, etc .... maybe when they have a clearer picture of what they are creating....
